How to find CARAPAX?
Carapax is situated in Tuscany (province of Grosseto, central Italy) almost in front of the island Elba, some 20 km from the sea, at the feet of the beautifull town of Massa Marittima.
Follow the brown touristic indications mensioning “Centro Tartarughe” or “Centro Cicogne”.
Once arrived at the foot of the hill of Massa Marittima, you see a big white pannel “Città di Massa Marittima” and at your right an Esso fuel station. In front of it, at your left, you see the indication “Centro Tartarughe” and “ Centro Cicogne” 2 km.
You take this street with at your left the trattoria “Villa la Boccia”. Following this road you see the last two roadsigns indicating to turn left between 2 pinetrees over a small bridge where you follow a small gravel road leading directly to the entrance of the Carapax’visiting Centre.
There is an inside parking place, also for campers.
