ARGIANO
Argiano in Chianti is a 12th century privately owned stone hamlet, once owned by the Vatican, and situated on a hill top in Chianti.
The estate of 250 acres consists of vineyards, olive groves and a century old forest, and produces an excellent and noted Chianti Classico, as well as other fine wines, and is centrally located being only 12 klms from the historic city of Siena, and in the Comune of Castelnuovo Beradenga.
The hamlet has been restored and converted into an ‘Agriturismo’ of 12 holiday apartments with a beautifully designed and restored Villa, whilst retaining all architectural features and bringing it into the 21st century. |
